*crickets*

Yes, I've been quiet lately.  Not much is going on here, and I haven't wanted to subject everyone to my whining.  I've been having random contractions that don't amount to much, and my lower back, pelvis and hips are really sore, so I've been doing a whole lot of nothing.  lol

My mommy is flying in tonight though.  And then tomorrow morning early I have my final OB appointment.  If things look good for induction, then I'll go to the hospital at 7 Saturday morning.  If not, I'll have to go in Friday night to start things slowly overnight.  Either way, after my appointment we're going to the zoo!  Maybe I can walk myself into labor. :p

Mistaken Identity

We took Coco to the vet yesterday for the first time, for shots and things, and he confirmed my suspicions.  Our healthy, active, growing little girl kitty...
...is actually a healthy, active growing little boy kitty.  I've sort of subconsciously switched from "she" to "he" (I really hadn't intended making an effort to do it), and Erin keep correcting me.  Even though we've told her Coco is actually a boy kitty, she still insists it's a girl and you say "she." lol  Oh well, as long as Allison stays a girl I'm okay with that.

Playing catch up

We've had a busy few days!

Coloring on the big paper Daddy brought home from work...
Making a trip to the new Ikea that just opened
And going to the zoo!
Erin wanted to take pictures, so I got in there too...lol
Yes, this guy is sucking on sidewalk chalk
This little guy is just a week old.  There was another one, and 9 more eggs waiting to hatch
We stopped for ice cream on the way home from the zoo, and Erin decided to share with Patrick.

Aunt Kim's visit

So Aunt Kim stopped by to visit on her way through (she's driving from Seattle to Chicago).  She left this morning, but we had a lot of fun while she was here.
She made flower crowns for all of us.
And then she ran around with the kids making them tired.
She took Erin to a little music store and they came back with a little ukulele for Erin and a tambourine for Patrick, but apparently I didn't get any pictures... The next day she brought out the Swedish nyckelharpa that she built while in Europe.  It's a bowed stringed instrument that has keys.  Strange looking isn't it?  Erin loved it.
Later Matt brought out his trumpet.  Patrick didn't like the sound but Erin thought it was great!
Erin was very sad to see Aunt Kim go.  It's too bad we don't get to see her more often!

Elitch Gardens

Friday was Matt's company's summer family picnic at Elitch Gardens.  I haven't been to a real amusement park in forever (Disney when I was 17 I think), and was excited to share it with the kids...though I didn't know what all they'd let an 8-months-pregnant woman do.

We had lunch first.
And then we went to the carousel.

Then we went to the Ferris wheel.  I was disappointed when the sign said that I couldn't go on it.  Unfortunately, since both kids would have needed an adult companion, that meant that Patrick couldn't either.  But Erin enjoyed it.
We went to the kiddie area next, where Patrick wanted to try the boat ride.
We then went to the water park part...but we didn't take out the camera.  lol  After that we went back to the kiddie area because Erin wanted to try the airplanes.
It was an exhausting day, but we had loads of fun!
