What's in Daddy's tummy?

So today we went on our big grocery shopping trip, and we stopped at Burger King for lunch. They had this bell with a sign that said "If we did well, ring the bell!" Well, Erin LOVED the idea, so she had to ring it on the way out. She couldn't reach the pull, so I picked her up and she rang it.

She wanted to do it again, and I said "No baby, you're too heavy for Mommy!"

So she said "Daddy could do it."

I rolled my eyes and said "Yes, well, Daddy doesn't have a baby in his tummy."

And she said "Nope, Daddy has poop!"

Water again!

We've been spending a lot of time outside now that we have our own yard.  And since it's summer, that means water.  Erin got a blow up kiddy pool for her birthday from a friend, so we decided to try it out today.

Erin took a pic of me.  I got in my suit, but didn't end up getting wet.  The fresh water was a tad cold for me.
But the kids loved the water, whatever the temperature.

My favorite picture
After Patrick started shivering convulsively, though, I convinced them to go inside.  Which meant a movie and popcorn.

Sprinklers!

Since we have a lawn to take care of, we needed sprinklers!  Which means.....running in them! lol
He tried to climb up onto my lap...while soaking wet. :p

Grandparents!

Just a few of my favorite pictures from the visit of Gwamma and Kwampa.

Erin and Patrick's room

I figured out my issue, now it's time to play catch up

Here's Erin and Patrick's room
before
and after.

Erin has wanted a bicycle since Christmas, so we finally got her one for her birthday.
Testing it out
 Patrick keeping occupied
We tried it out this afternoon, and she was good until she fell.
Luckily Grandpa was here to make her feel better.

Birthday fun

Apparently we've started a tradition for Erin's birthday.  We took the train downtown to meet Daddy for lunch, just like we did last year.  Of course, I forgot the camera!  When we got to the restaurant for lunch though, Matt reminded me that the iphone takes pictures.
Erin loves her daddy.
Patrick was in a fairly cranky mood....until he got food in his tummy.
And Erin had to take a picture of me.  Yummy breakfast for lunch!
More train fun on the way home.
So after that we pretty much crashed until dinner time, and then after dinner Erin opened her present from Grandma and Grandpa Hill.
She LOVES her "Uhpunsoh" dolly.

Then we went swimming!  We also did this last year.  No idea what we'll do next year after the train because we won't have a pool anymore.
